Family & Ranch Camp History:

The Weir’s homesteaded in the Kiowa Valley in the early 1900’s. Grandpa Weir came to New Mexico in his wagon and forged a living in this unforgiving but starkly beautiful land.

Together the Weir’s have 4,000 acres, 1,100 of which is the now the Kiowa Valley Ranch. The Valley has only a handful of neighbors spread out over several miles.

Camping on our private land is the perfect way to escape. Are you tired of camping parks with hundreds of other campers around you at all times? Instead camp in pristine rugged wilderness, with beautiful sunrises, sunsets and star lit skies. Our location is a perfect launching pad to unique tourist locales. Whether you are just passing through or plan to stay awhile, Kiowa Valley Ranch Camp offers a unique and unforgetable experience.

We offer daily entry, open land camping, and lodging.
We also offer pronghorn antelope hunting, astronomy and star gazing, and of course an in nature experience that you won't get in camping parks.
